Turntable is a complex electromechanical device. As a kind of the modern integrated equipment which constants photoelectric mechanical and electronic technology, turntable plays an important role in many fields, such as laboratory and military, especially in the study of hardware-in-the-loop calibrated, the simulation and test. It has a irreplaceable position in improving the level of technology and operation practice ability of laboratory.With gradually development of science and technology, Computer vision was used in all aspects of life. This paper designed a kind of two-dimensional turntable based on a vision calibration system; it belongs to a part of the computer vision calibration system. The system implemented controlling the camera, video camera and image monitoring system of auxiliary equipment and it is also an integral part of the visual test system of calibration. The system get clear test range, flexible monitoring, high security, high reliability, high accuracy is the most important indicators. Given the importance of the turntable and the actual demand, the research and design work for the rotary table.The inner loop based on LPC2103FBD48controller chip is designed as speed loop, and the outer loop is designed as position loop constants the double closed loop feedback control system and its operation method. The precise control of speed and precision of the two axis turntable is applied in practice, and the simulation and practical test of the control method are discussed in this paper. In the design of this paper, the step motor is selected as actuator; subdivision drive control of step motor is studied. The fuzzy self-tuning controller is designed, and the simulation of the method is carried on by using MATLAB. Use of stepping motor subdivision drive control and fuzzy self-tuning controller is the main research content of this article. Subdivision drive control theoretically proved the feasibility of the analysis control, using the sine pulse width modulation technology to achieve goals. Fuzzy self-tuning controller is a fuzzy control method and the combination of the conventional PID control method. The theory analysis and experimental results shows that the accuracy of angle resolution and angle position of this turntable satisfy the design requirements.
