With the rapid development of information society, broadband wireless multimedia trunking communication system has drawn many more people’s attention. It takes particular users’ requests such as national defense, delivery, production and emergency as main body with wireless scheduling and commading functions of high speed, high quality and businesses integration, and has characteristics like sharing resources and channels and splitting costs. Broadband wireless multimedia trunking communication system is the development direction and research focus in special mobile communication field and it is of good value to study it from the perspective of users and management for resources to make it more applicable.Trunking communication system is introduced in this paper firstly, and then the architechture of management system for broadband wireless multimedia trunking resources is put forward by studying the system from the angle of the management for trunking users’ and groups’ resources, which means these resources are taken as the core. After that different parts of management system and different interfaces between each module are introduced, and then the management system is simplified and divided into two parts named scheduling subsystem and database access subsystem.The scheduling subsystem includes user equipment (UE), switch and control center (SCC) and register dababsase server (RDS), and the database access subsystem includes RDS and database.For scheduling subsystem, the Diameter protocol and its OpenDiameter stack are studied, then a design proposal of interface R for resources scheduling is put forword and its functional architecture, business processes and signaling formats are described in detail. After that a development and an implementation of business functions of the application layer are made for interface R.For database access subsystem, the functional architecture is also described and the inner management pattern for resources in database is presented. A development and an implementation of each function of RDS accessing to database and database pushing updated information from itself to RDS are made after designing the interfaces to access to database.It can be seen from the system test and relevant analyses that the design and business functions of management system for resources can meet different business needs of broadband wireless multimedia trunking communication system with good expansibility.For future work, database can be designed to be distributed database or cloud database, RDS can be made to work under dual servers’standby pattern, SCC can be built more than one so that they can communicate with each other by using load balancing technology, user terminals’ client mode can be changed into Web mode by using browser technology. By the expansion of businesses, private network businesses of broadband wireless multimedia trunking communication system can be integrated into public network for general public services, which will become an indispensable part of people’s life.
