Endowment insurance for urban employees is a matter of people’s livelihood and social stability, it ensures people to live and work in peace and contentment. The work of endowment insurance is of great significance. In1995, the government issued a document Gan [1995] No.50which requires to establish the basic endowment insurance system that combines social mutual assistance with personal accounts. Manual operation of endowment insurance business has been unable to meet the requirement for implementing endowment insurance system of account combined. Meanwhile, in order to further improve the system of endowment insurance for urban employees, establish and perfecting the endowment insurance system, establishing the information system of social insurance management is imminent. The information construction of Jiangxi endowment insurance started in the early1990s. Previously, the handling operations of whole province pension insurance agency are performed manually. In the early nineties, Nanchang and Jiujiang are the first to use computers to manage endowment insurance business in Jiangxi province. However, the traditional information system has the defect of inadaptation with the business, non-strong operability and rough interface. In this case, the endowment insurance information system arises at the historic moment.The function of the system mainly includes the public pension insurance business, fund management, comprehensive inquiry, information maintenance, retirement pension management, etc. The system adopts the structure of B/S. It is three-tier application architecture based on JavaEE platform. The architecture has the characteristic of multi-channel access, open SOA system, fallback of common business, authority of data level, pure business interface, implicit participation, model-driven development, lightweight development based on POJO, component polymorphism, independent of application server, etc.
