The acquisition of the PN code is one of the most important spread spectrumcommunication technology, with the continuous development of spread spectrumcommunication technology and the appearance of new navigation signal, this technology isalso improved and changed. Researchers at home and abroad has never interrupted theresearch of the acquisition of the PN code. This paper mainly research capture algorithm ofsatellite communication system, and studies some important technical parts of acquisitionmethod,analysis a efficient and rapid acquisition algorithm theoretically, and finally realizedin receiver platform.Firstly, this paper described the background of research project, gives a brief analysis ofthe spread spectrum communication technology. Then introduces BOC(Binary Offset Carrier)modulation technology and BPSK(binary phase shift keying) modulation technology, andshow the performance these two kinds of modulation technology.Secondly, the paper expound the basic principles of the PN acquisition method ofnavigation signal. Some important part such as how to improve sensitivity of receiver and theinfluence of Doppler frequency shift also were studied in this paper. According to thetechnical requirements of this subject, this paper choose rapid PN acquisition method basedon the PMF-FFT architecture, studied the basic principles of this acquisition method, thenprove the significant characteristics of this kind of method in math. Design acquisitionmethod according to technical requirement. Using Matlab simulate the acquisition method intheory. This paper analyzed and studied the acquisition method of BOC signal method.Finally, this paper designed the PMF-FFT acquisition structure. Using VerilogHDLlanguage to realize this acquisition method with DSP-FPGA platform. The paper show theway to realize some key parts of acquisition method. Finally, using the receiver platform to measure the acquisition method realized to prove usability of the acquisition method wedesign.
