With the rapid development of wireless communications and geo-positioning, much more attention has been paid to LBS (Location Based Service) which can be widely used in many fields such as civil and military. One of the most challenging applications of state-of-the-art technology has been the research based on mobile data and its indexes recently. At present, there are two methods which can provide mobile data. One is the mobile data simulator, the other is the benchmark platform, and both of them have made the remarkable progress. Still, there are some shortcomings. The former can simulate mobile data dynamically, but few of them consider the query test function. While the latter just gives the definition and benchmarks for query operation, and do not achieve query authentication function. Also, it cannot display the mobile data graphically. Based on these analyses, this thesis is designed to develop a useful platform to liberate the researchers from tedious data processing work to some extent, and reduce some unnecessary work.This thesis designs and realizes mobile data generator and mobile query test platform based on the requirements of researchers. Data generation and query test functions are implemented separately, so these two platforms are independent from each other. In a result, this thesis has a good scalability. This thesis uses JAVA as main programming language, and adopts JAVA Socket technology to realize communication function. The graphics user interface is friendly and easy to operate, implemented by JAVA GUI technology. Also, this interface can simulate the behavior of moving data dynamically, which leads to implement moving data management efficiently, as well as provides interfaces for other related systems. Besides, this thesis employs MySQL to manage moving data, and implements data storage, query and modify functions by database technology.This system implements mobile data generation and communication functions to the client on the server. On the client, it realizes basic functions like map drawing, data marking, query test functions and so on. Besides, this system supports graphics operation of users, like displaying moving data dynamically, and renders data query function to the users. This thesis describes the processing of design and implementation of moving objects generation and query test platform. At first, this thesis introduces the background of development, including the current situation of related technology, and presents the purpose and significance of the system. And then, it discusses the related techniques, introduces the design of this system in detail according to the analysis result of requirement, and explains every function module using figures and words. Finally, the system is tested and it describes the future work.
