Today, real-time video surveillance system with its intuitive, accurate, real-time, and easy management of advantages have been widely used in various fields of human social life. Because the transmission of real-time video surveillance system data volume is larger, and more strictly to real time transmission of data stream at the same time, so, study how to make sure video streaming real-time and reliable transmission in the network to monitoring system has important significance.Firstly, analyzes the H.264coding compression technologies and real-time transport protocol RTP/RTCP, optimized the H.264core algorithm, improved the coding efficiency, enhanced real-time video streaming transmission; based on RTP of H.264video stream transmission frame is analyzed and put forward the RTP packaging solutions. Secondly, gives the overall design and implementation of the monitoring system, to introduces the collect coding part, streaming media server, and it’s client respectively, analyzes in detail the construction of the streaming media server and RTP packaging and transmission process, realize the UDP streaming transmission way, carefully analyses the UDP mode based on RTCP feedback congestion control mechanism.Finally set up test system to test validation transmission scheme. Through the verification, the system screen clear and smooth, have good real-time performance. In this paper, design method of video streaming transmission meet the requirements of practical application.
