Ultraviolet detection technology is a rising imaging detection technology which has applied to civilian market since1990s. The technology principle mainly uses the characteristic that the energy of sunlight scarcely exists in the blind spectral region (200-280nm) to observe the UV signal which generated or reflected by the target and transform the UV signal to visible signal in order to detect and process the information.This paper introduces the principle traits and application fields of UV detection technology and researches the UV detection devices. Aiming at the UV image intensifier’s noisy phenomenon during application, the paper analyzes the causes and designs a de-noise algorithm. According to the target information and background information which are applied to fingerprint detection system, the paper processes the fusion of UV image and visible image. Because those two kinds of images don’t possess similar gray information in coincide spectral region, the article emphasizes the image’s registration issue. On this basis, the article constructs the fingerprint perception system with the functions of image de-noise processed by FPGA and image fusion processed by DSP. The system can both obtain the visible background information and fingerprint information.For the obtained fingerprint target, apart from fulfill the function of real-time displaying, gathering and storing, this paper tries to research the pre-processing of the information in order to complete the feature extraction and fingerprint matching.
