Design And Implementation Of A University Science Research Management System

In the21st century, along with the development of the universities’s modern information construction, the level of scientific research management has become an important factor of university’s scientific research capacity. Nowadays, every university is urgently need to design such a convenient and efficient scientific research management system for simplifying scientific research processes and quickly collecting information about scientific research. Thus, it’s become the focus of university’s scientific research management.By deep analysis of the extant problems of university’s scientific research management and learning from the successful system at home and abroad, this paper has become develop a system of scientific research management based on Web. This sytem can achieve scientific research project application、statistics of scientific research production and scientific research evaluation, thereby reducing the task of scientific research management. The work of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1) By introducing functional features about Java and MyEclipse, this paper has used the technology of JSP+Servelet+JDBC as a development framework for developing system. Besides, this system has operated the relevant data of MySQL database based on MyEclipse development platform.(2) This system has been developed in B/S development pattern by using Div+Css page control technology. It has mainly realized such modules design:the registration and login, personal information management, scientific research management, scientific productions management, statistics of scientific research, and so on. Besides, the system has some public interfaces, which will be helpful for system upgrade and perfect. By designing user right, it proposes a complete set of processes about how to manage scientific research between different roles(administrators、researchers and visitors).(3) In order to separate business process from page display, this paper has used MVC design framework. With the "0script language" development and successfully applicating in Windows platform and Internet Explore7.0, this system has well realized the development of scientific research management.
