Based on engineering application of millimeter wave active-passive compound detector, the paper focuses on the research of signal detection and processing technology of the system of8mm band active-passive compound detector. According to the technology demand of the millimeter detector in the process of practical test, a high-speed target recognition system is successfully designed in this paper. In the design of hardware system, with TMS320VC5410DSP chip as the core, a single chip AD9059was used to replace the traditional double AD design of active and passive sampling channel to realize the sampling of the active and passive echo. ASST39VF200chip was used to store the program and data in the system. In addition, the design of power, clock, reset, data bus driver, digital switch and other circuit module were included in the system design. A complete digital signal processing and control system was formed with the DSP5410as the core.In the design of software system, the purpose is to realize the function of distance detecting and passive identification of the detector. Ranging, signal preprocessing, target recognition algorithm and software function module were all included in the completed design.Passive millimeter wave radiometer recognition algorithm of target on the ground is the point. A new kind manifold learning algorithm is given, namely orthogonal discriminated neighborhood Hessian projection (ODNHP), which is proved by the experiment that can achieve higher recognition in the lower dimensions. At the end, the signal processing system software and hardware testing and debugging were completed. The experiment result has been shown the effectiveness of this study design to be of validity.
