Research And Implementation Of Media Resources Sharing In Digital Family

With the rapid development of electronic devices and wireless network technology, home network is becoming an important part of digital life. And the relevant technology and stander is becoming the focuses in home and abroad. Customers want to enjoy rich multi-media content at home without worrying about where the content is stored. At the same time, Android operating system is more and more popular for customers and developers. So it is now a very nice platform to implement the application. Android Phones and Tablets are all capable for multi-media resources sharing.In this paper, we proposed a DLNA Sharing Project on Android System with three roles (DMS, DMR, and DMC). And Designed a DLNA based integration system of media resource service and media play control. In the system we implemented the DMS and DMR. Thus, we can make DLNA compatible devices sharing content and control each other. We also proposed the design and interact behavior of each device base on DLNA AV architecture.The system was developed on Android operation system. On the Android, we implement the UPnP Architecture using JAVA, HTTP, XML SSDP, SOAP technologies. We also decoupled the different layers of network, to make the network transport and data parsing and media play independent to each other.The System implements the interfaces and service of standard DLNA protocol, and the multi-media sharing schema of home network server. Under the structure of this system, we also proposed a DMS transportation strategy, which makes the transportation speed to be stable than before. For Android Devices, using DLNA protocol enabled system can provide a lot of convenient for clients.
