With the rapid development of the information technology and the rising standard of people’sliving life, there are more and more digital products appear in our family, most of these digitalproducts have network access function. How to connect these digital products to a network, realizeresources sharing and interoperability between them by wire or wireless means, this is the problemthat DLNA want to solve. DLNA based on UPnP, it is not a new created technology but a kind ofsolution, all kinds of technologies and protocols in DLNA are already widely used today. The most commonly appeared digital products in our family include PC, smart phone, digitalintelligent TV, digital camera, etc. This project uses embedded development board which to insteadof digital intelligent TV, PC and Android smart phone to connect together by wireless router, andsimulates DLNA scene through a simple human-computer interactive interface. The developmentboard acts as control point and media player, PC acts as media server and media player, Androidsmart phone mainly acts as media player and AV control point. It can control development board tosearch all media server and media player devices in the DLNA network through the remote control, and it can control any media player to play any media resources in the network, meanwhile it can beable to control media-playing process. The paper mainly focuses on the design of human-computer interactive system and the processof implementation on the Android system which based on UPnP. At last it builds up a small digitalhome network, and demonstrate the main function of the project, it basically achieve the desiredresults.
