Drug safety events have occurred frequently in recent years,which not only harm the health of consumers but also have a negative impact on social stability. We can note from all the events that they were exposed by media before the actions of relevant departments, resulting in harsh impact. We need take this into serious consideration to establish a more rational safety management mode.As a new management mode,RFID-based drugs supply regulatory system becomes a hot issue for research.Through the application of RFID (radio frequency technology) newly-established traceability system,the information collection will cover the whole process of drug supply. As a result, reconstruction of drug supply and regulatory process can effectively prevent bogus drugs into market and maintain the drug market in order.In this paper, according to the China’s drug traceability and actual operating of pharmaceutical enterprises,the drug traceability management has been designed and developed by applying RFID from the overall constructing prospective of traceability management. The details are as follows:the author analyzes the current drug administration technology and drug administration system and propose the content for research and technology. Secondly, through the analysis of demand of drug traceability management system and drug traceability mode, combined with the actual situation of China’s pharmaceutical industry, the business processes of drug traceability management system based on RFID technology are established. Thirdly, combined with RFID technology and EPC technology, this paper analyzes and designs the overall system framework, functional modules and system database, with the description of specific application of this system in the drug traceability management. Fourthly, by applying C#Programming Language and Microsoft SQL Server2005Database, the system is initially established to achieve a drug EPC code, message transferring in the circulation process,real-time monitoring of drug information and drug information inquiries.In this way, the information traceability of drug distribution process is completed.Finally, the author draws a conclusion of this paper and describes the prospects of future work.
