Design And Implementation Of Students Dormitory Management System

Students dormitory is the main life place of university students, so it is the important compent part of school management work to management students dormitory. With the increase of enrollment scale, increasing huge students quantity lead to the situation of many and diverse for dormitory management work. How to deal with this problem has became the central issue for the leaders of logistics management department. For the new undergraduate college-Hezhou university, in order to adapt to the needs of school development, and further improve the work efficiency of logistics service, logistics department needs to a software system that can adapt to the daily dormitory management work. It aims to bring the advantages of modern information technology and web into play, and achieves the transformation of manual work to computer management, then improve the work efficiency of dormitory management. Therefore, starting form the actual work of school dormitory management, this dissertation used ASP.NET technology and SQL Server2005database to design and develop a friendly, high efficiency and convinent students dormitory management system which is based on B/S pattern. Research work of this dissertation mainly includes:(1) Describing the research background and significant of students dormitory management system, analyzing the research status of students dormitory management system from different research object, development technology and architecture pattern, and obtained the main research content of this thesis.(2) Introducing the relevant technology of system development, for example ASP.NET technology, SQL Server2005and Visual Studio2010, etal.(3) Carrying out the feasibility analysis for the students dormitory management system, gave the six function modules according to the actual situation of school dormitory management work, and analysed the non-function requirement.(4) Analysing the system design method and selected the B/S pattern, gaving the whole structure function diagram, and descripting the design of the E-R model and database tables.(5) In the development environment named Visual Studio2010, it uses the technology combination of ASP.NET, SQL Server2005and IIS server to develop and realized the six function modules of students dormitory:login management, repair management, E-mail management, students management, late management and news management. Finally, software testing is carried out for the dormitory management system.
