Microwave Remote Sensing is an important application of the technology ofremote sensing, especially passive microwave remote sensing. Recently it is more andmore applied in aerospace, military, weather, physic and so on.As the sensor of passive microwave remote sensing, the theory and configurationof radiometer was corrected and modified by studies. Especially in recent years, thesimulation of microwave radiometer becomes more and more noticeable by people.Especially systemic simulation of radiometer, it is very useful for systemic designer ofradiometer to identify the character of transmission signal. And it thesis for optimizingthe configuration of radiometer and improving the performance of it. This dissertationaims for the systemic simulation of microwave radiometer receiver, and apply thesimulation software of matlab to design the configuration of radiometer, and evaluatethe performance of it. The research includes:1) Based on the Plank Blackbody Law, research on the character of input signal,which is prepared for the sequential building the math model of radiometric inputsignal.2) From random signal processing, based on wireless communication theory,analyze the effect of each subsystem in theory and obtain the characteristics of signalsof every noticeable node.3) Give out the designing target of each part, and by this standard build up themath simulation models of the subsystems, and then compared with the actual target,obtain their validity.4) Combining these models, fix on the sampling hits, then watch and analyze theoutput waveforms of each model.5) Based on the systemic model of radiometer receiver, research on the calibrationtechnology of radiometer, mainly including linearity, sensitivity, and brightnesstemperature bias etc, and finally build up another model of direct detect radiometerreceiver.In this dissertation, comprehending the radiometer calibration technology broadly and practically, further understanding the targets requirement of each component andthe impact on the radiometer system, and then design and develop a direct detectradiometer receiver, and research on the performance of it. The result of the dissertationwill be applied as technology storage and provide reference and technical support forradiometer systemic designers.
