Design And Implementation Of Web Teaching Platform Based On.NET

With the fast development of network techniques, distributed long-distanceteaching is out of the frame of traditional teaching, gradually changing the means ofteaching and learning. The long-distance teaching based on NET has become a newteaching model. This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of long-distanceteaching system based on NET.Modern distance education, a new type of education form, has been born in thecourse of modern information technology. It breaks the traditional teaching. As a result,people can study at any time anywhere, so the aim to make educational resources sharedhas been achieved. Also, modern distance education is an important method for thecountry to quickly, effectively and economically enlarge the educational scale as well aspromote universal education. Nowadays, although the application of web-basedinstruction in our country has been achieved to a certain level, there are still someproblems existing in the issues of technical implementation, design procedure andsystem implementation, which affect the quality and efficiency of web-based instructionfrom different angles.After analyzing the problems in the existing network teaching platform, this thesisconstruct a three layer structure mode of the teaching platform based on NET. Thedesign of the system depends on the databank SQL Server, adopts relatively advancedNET technology, uses the new object-oriented language C#, links ASP. NET andemploys the Web service. The system is divided into three layers i.e. user layer,function layer and data layer. The user layer takes advantage of the interface to increasethe interactive application. The function layer divides the system into lots of functionalmodules and completes the computing of application programs in the form of modulesso that the structure of the system can be more modularized. The data layer storessystem information. The function build a fast access to the data of the data layer byADO．NET. And the data layer makes use of the stored procedures to implement theunderlying data operation. The adoption of NET technology makes procedures andcodes successfully separated. When developing components and realize complex logic,the object-oriented language C#is taken advantage of. According to these, the programcodes will be safer, the transplant will be more convenient and the execution efficiency will be higher. What’s more, the distributed system will be configured more easily. Atthe same time, windows authentication should be employed to enhance the security ofthe system.
