Design And Implementation Of The Lab. Management System In Colleges And Universities

Experimental teaching in colleges and universities is an important part of highereducation, in the daily teaching management work, the management of experimentalteaching is also important content. At present, most universities have implemented thedaily teaching management work by using the information technology, but theinformatization construction work of the experimental teaching is relatively behind.This thesis combines with the current experimental teaching management situation ofWenzhou Radio and Television University, it discusses the application of informationtechnology, aimes to develop an experimental management system which suitable forthe college.This thesis discusses the design and implementation process of experimentmanagement system in detail, and a complete development plan is given.The plan putsforward developping experimental management system based on three layers structureby using ASP.NET technology and combining with SQL Server database and VisualStudio platform. The system based on the plan includes following funtion moudles:course administrator module, experimental teacher module, student module, academicadministrator module and system administrator module. Among them, the courseadministrator module discusses the implementation of experimental course scheduling,and also gives the implementation algorithm of the scheduling; The experimentalteachers module discusses the implementation of the lab reports online reviewing andperformance management; The student module gives an implementaion plan of orderingexperiment project and submitting experiment report; In addition, this thesis alsodiscusses the implementaion process of the moudles including teachers’ workloadstatistics, performance statistics, etc. In the later of the project development, eachfunction moudle has verified by the system test, it proves that the system meet the users’need, and the design and development objectives are achieved in the thesis.At present, the experiment management system has run formally in the continuingeducation school of Wenzhou Radio and Television University, from the actualoperation situation to see, the usage of the system not only reduces the workload ofexperiment teaching adminstrator, makes the teacher have more time and energy on theexperimental teaching, but also by making the students elective experiment independently, indirectly stimulates the students’ interest in experiment, and improvesthe experimental teaching effect.
