Wireless Sensor network (Wireless Sensor Networks WSN) is a new research f ield,it is developing by the digital circuit, wireless communication, and micro-elect ro-mechanical system.Wireless sensor network is composed a large number of low-c ost sensor nodes which deployed in the test area,the nodes through wireless comm unication form a self-organizing wireless network, the nodes action is perceived aro und information perception object, collecting and processing information, and sent t o the user.Firstly,this article introduces the basic concepts of wireless sensor network, system structure, characteristics and the network protocol stack. And then this article introduces the concept of wireless sensor network routing protocol, the design requirements and various performance indicators, then this article summarizing the advantages of clustering routing protocol through analysis and comparison on some existing typical wireless sensor routing protocol analysis. This article analyzed the clustering routing protocols represented by LEACH.Finally, this article proposed a Clustering routing protocol Algorithm With Isolated Nodes CAWIN (Clustering Algorithm With Isolated Nodes),it aiming at the problem of LEACH protocol, and draw lessons from the thought of existing routing protocol. The in order to save energy. In the cluster head election, residual energy of nodes will be first selected as cluster heads, this method make the network of the cluster head selection more reasonable. In the formation of clusters election, the algorithm add the isolated nodes mechanism to the algorithm,and get sink node in cluster building process, this is done to optimize the node communication path. Put CAWIN algorithm through MATLAB simulation, and compared with LEACH, DEEC algorithm analysis, the results show that the new algorithm can effectively reduce the network energy consumption, better load balancing, prolong network life time.
