The Design And Application Of CTG MBOSS Product

China Telecom, one of the largest telecommunications companies, has establishedan effective and comprehensive information technology(IT) system. This system is notrequired not only to handle large volumes of data and frequent changes in business rules,but also to ensure that covering national market channels. In order to support thedevelopment of marketing business.China Telecom implemented CTG-MBOSS2.0standard, which specified themanagement solution related to products and packages.According to this standard, a system aimed to control both company and provinciallevel business has been constructed. This paper describes a solution that was developedto address the product management. It consists of an operations support system thatmanaging the product information, configuration templet, product life cycle andemployee organization. In order to satisfy the needs of different customer bases, ChinaTelecom launched a variety of products as well as offered a multiplicity of packages. Asa result, the PPM system was launched to minimize the costs and human resources usedby the different kinds of products and packages. In this paper, combined with developframework Spring and the process engine PPM system, the design and applicationdevelopment of Chine Telecom products are accomplished by using SYBASEPOWERDESIGN, data platform ORACLE.The core job in this project is the design and implement of database application, tofulfill the needs of province system. During the whole process, the prospective of ChinaTelecom products provides multiple views to explain the current situation in market,and thus system management mainly in charge of organization and authorizationcontrolling. The most creative part is the control of process based on JBPM combedwith telecom business in China.
