Online Teaching BBS Design And Implementation

With the vigorous development of Internet technology, the Forum emerged.theforum,also called BBS,whose full name is Bulletin Board System (electronic bulletinboard) or Bulletin Board Service (bulletin board service),is one of the most commonWeb interactions services provided by Internet.because of its characteristic of opening,real-time and interactivity,The scope of application for BBS is constantly expaning，people pay more attention to BBS.BBS itself has become a new media: Net Media.Withthe continuous development and change of network media, the influence and guidanceof BBS is also increasing, and the standing of BBS will no doubt become more andmore important. According to its content, BBS can be divided into two categories:Synthesis BBS and Professional BBS. Online teaching BBS Belongs to ProfessionalBBS.Online teaching BBS provides an opening forum, where teachers can upload andupdate teaching materials, students can learn their interesting knowledge, downloadteaching materials, present their views and discuss topics of their interest.This paper analyzed and Researched Online teaching BBS system design andimplementation detailedly, which used ASP as active page development technology,SQL Server2008as background database.The paper introduced the emergence anddevelopment of Online teaching BBS, outlined the features and mechanisms ASP andSQL Server2008. It analyzed the Online teaching BBS users detailed demands,Respectively analyzed and Researched system overall requirements，system functionalrequirements analysis,which including basic functions and extended functions andtechnical requirements and other aspects etc.Acording to users’ demands, the paperdetailedly analyzed and designed the overall functional structure of the system and eachsub-module structure of the system, including user module, layout module, publicinformation module, post module and administrator module.Through teasing thebusiness processes, we established the concept structure and logic structure of thedatabase. The concept structure design used E-R diagram to describe the relationshipbetween the various entities. The logical structure design contented the conceptstructure design into database tables, which describe logical relationship betweenmodules in system.According to the concept structure design the logical structurecontent, the detailed design of Online teaching BBS system was finished.According to designing results, and combining with ASP development technology and SQL Server2008database platform, it described the implemented methods of every functionalmodule, designed and completed and ensure the system run stably. Later, through avariety of testing methods to test the system, and the test result revealed that the systemhad fully function, run stably, operate flexibly, so it achieved the desired results.Online teaching BBS design and implementation greatly extended the function ofOnline teaching BBS, significantly promoted the operating efficiency management levelof it.The discussion of its function, operation mechanism, technology development,management issues and other aspects in this paper, could be play positive role intechnology and application of Online teaching BBS.
