In recent years,with the rapid development of the Internet and spreading in a largearea in our country,more and more people like to chat online,exchange instantinformation, have a video call and other applications online.This technology,whichrelies on the Internet platform to send and receive instant messages on Internet,we call itInstant Messaging.According to iResearch survey data shows that,as of2009,the instantmessaging users in China has reached at290million.In company,the number of peoplewho uses the Instant Messaging likes QQ or MSN on their terminals has reached at90%.Absolutely,that the people who uses the Instant Messaging doesn’t get thepermission from the company will bring some security risks and efficiency decreasingto the company.So, Enterprise instant messaging software naturally become the bestsolution for corporate customers,which both to meet the needs of internal staffcommunication,but also solve the problem of network security.This thesis designs an enterprise instant messaging system which intergrates textconversation,file transfer and other multiple communication channels.All of thetransmitted information is stored and forwarded by the system background.Thisimproves the security of enterprise communications,but also improve the office staff’sefficiency.The system can divide the users into groups for easy management.The system uses C/S mode.The system’s reception is at Microsoft Visual C++development environment.First,Constructing the software interface according to thedemands.Second,according to the Windows message response and transmissionmechanism,and Windows Socket Communication Theory to achieve the informationtransceiver and user online status tracking.Under Windows database programmingtechniques,setting up the user’s information and managing the user groups.The system’sbackground,under Linux operating system,using C++programming technology andLinux socket and database programming techniques to complete the informationreceive,store and transmit,and also manage the online users.The main innovation in this task is that using a thread pool when process thebackground threads.Test results achieved the expected goal,achieving a text conversation,file transfer,open tracking,personal information management and enterprise user groupmanagement.The system can complete the communication tasks between users stablyand backup the communication data intergrally.Through the system implementation process,the thesis summarizes the instantmessaging system’s main communication theory and program framework and workflow.
