Wireless Mesh Networks (Wireless Mesh Networks, WMNs) as a new wirelessbroadband network, has advantages of self-organization ability, multi-hop transmission, highstability, and fast transmission speed; Due to its equality between the nodes, which has ensurethe network providing a more reliable connection. With its advantages of high-capacity,low-cost, good scalability, self-healing capabilities, easy to design and low cost networking,Wireless Mesh Network obtained an extensive attention,also becomes an important part ofnew generation of wireless networks. With the advancement of technology and people’srequirement, the wireless Mesh networks used in the area of education and informationcontrol require higher network services. Whether the wireless Mesh networks can provideeffective QoS security, which affects its application and development, the research on QoSrouting for wireless Mesh networks becomes a hot research direction.Particle swarm optimization algorithm is a new intelligent algorithm, but the problemsstill exit in using particle swarm optimization in the research of wireless Mesh networkmulticast routing. This paper proposes two methods to solve problems, which can optimize itsperformance and satisfy wireless Mesh networks users.First, by taking use of differential evolution algorithm, which has a fast speed and highaccuracy, this paper proposes a new algorithm. Guaranting those QoS parameters’ restrainterms and conditions such as packet loss rate, delay, delay jitter, through enriching the typesof optimization species and expanding the range of path searched, the new algorithm canguarantee its optimal quality and running speed.Because learning factors can decide the performance of particle swarm optimizationalgorithm, then the paper discusses the proper range. At last, the paper takes using of artificialfish swarm algorithm, which has fast convergence and strong parallel processing capability, tomake a new algorithm. The new algorithm depends on competition and communicationbetween different particles, together with artificial fish swarm algorithm’s track process,which can guarantee its convergence and steadily.
