With the rapid development of wireless networks, the wireless networks are increasingly used more and more larger. The users of Wireless mobile are not satisfied to use the data communications simply, but meet requirements with more real-time business needs. The application of multicast system service with strict delay, error rate limit is increasing rapidly, such as Video conferencing, gaming, VoIP, digital video broadcasting, Vod, etc. The wireless network has the shortcomings of a low throughput, error rate ,It stops the development of real-time wireless services .so the better performance of the wireless multicast routing protocols and error control protocol can further improve the efficiency of multicast, to meet the business development.The Wireless Mesh Network is a new wireless network which collecting the advantages of Wireless Ad hoc networks and wireless local area network, It is a multi-hop wireless transmission Network. It overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional wireless LAN which has transmission distance is limited, the transmission efficiency at the end is lower. The Wireless Mesh Network has the advantages of self-configuration capability, wide coverage, reliability, high bandwidth and flexibility.The wireless network multicast error correction research has focused on the application layer at present in Foreign and had made a number of application layer error correction mechanisms. But many error correction mechanisms still exit many questions, moreover the application layer is on top in the network protocol layer, It has obvious shortcomings. In this paper, we study the multicast routing protocols of wireless Mesh network based on Multicast Ad hoc On-Distance Vector Routing (MAODV ) of Wireless Ad hoc networks, and propose a cross-layer design . The main work is as follows:1) The Wireless Mesh network structure and features of the wireless Mesh network are analyzed , and give the research focus and analysis of the existing wireless multicast network routing protocols , and introduce the MAODV of ad hoc in detail, and transplanted into the case under the Mesh network. 2) MAODV protocol was optimized on the path and proposed the RO-MAODV agreement. RO-MAODV selected Fewer hops to the group leader path formatting multicast tree, thereby reducing the delay caused by multi-hop.3) According to the RO-MAODV ideas, correcting mechanism with the existing MAC layer Multicast Layer-BLBP ideological cross-layer error correction. RO-MAODV wa10s used to improve the shortcomings of Layer-BLBP.4) The multicast routing protocol RO-MAODV was implemented In the NS2 simulation environment and obtained the average delay and packet delivery ratio by experiment with different node speed .We get the multicast throughput and optimized Performance thought the comparison of RO-MAODV and MAODV .
