Tianjin "new" Ta Kung Pao (1926-1937) adheres to the translation of foreign literature, founds some supplements, such as Yi Lin.Tong Luo.Bai Xue, Drama(Drama Weekly),LittlePark,Literature Supplement, Art Supplement, Art. These supplements concern the dynamic news of world literature, comment recently issued books, brings various genres translation together, publish theory articles which are easy to be understood, make great contribution to the development and dissemination of literary translation in China. In contrast, Literature Supplement (edited by Wu Mi) and Art (edited by Xiao Qian) have the highest research value. The former mainly use classical Chinese language, has strong academic feature, with the method of comparative literature, comments literary trends or writers from overall perspective; the latter has diverse styles, receive various types of translation, the most prominent feature is "double publication":special issue of poetry (edited by Liang Zongdai) focus on translating Western Symbolist poetry and theory, special issue of translation (edited by Huang Yuan) focus on translating realism literature, even has left-wing tendency. Compared with the same period of literary magazines, Ta Kung Pao supplements have some advantages, such as large circulation, more reader and fast spread. These translations provide unprecedented opportunities for the general public to engage with world literature. With the debate of the editor, newspaper boss, translator (author) and reader, The translation in Ta Kung Pao supplement suit both refined and popular taste, emphasis on time-limited, informative and interesting feature, promote the popularity of literary translation in China.
