People put forwardhigher requirements for applications of computer graphics, engineering design, analysis anddocumentation production, along with the birth of the CAD technology. AutoCAD as CADindustry’s flagship product, is the world’s most widely used computer-aided graphic designsoftware. However, when people is making product design by using AutoCAD,it will producelots of CAD drawing file following.At present a lot of equipment manufacturing enterprises have encountered sometechnical problems in the process of the implementation of information management.Drawings of product design in addition to constitutive structure expression of product andgraphics, and include a lot of text information (such as the information of title bar andcomponent etc.), which are important data source for subsequent information management.However, implementation of drawings warehousing operations in most PDM documentmanagement system, the information of the title bar of product drawings cannot be directlyread, so people have to repeat input manually; When BOM is generated in the ERP system,schedule information of the product drawings cannot be directly transferred into system,therefore people have to input manually again; When drawing component list in AutoCADsoftware, we also cannot make full use of the existing product data of MRPⅡ/ERP system.As a result we have a very big barrier in the interface conversion of information managementsystem and text information of product drawing, which resulting in a large number ofnecessary original data information systems depend on manual input, so there are manydisadvantages in the drawings with the tabulation data, high error rate, workload big, cycle islong, low efficiency, query cumbersome, data cannot be Shared, etc.In view of existing situation, we have an comprehensively analysis of the existingresults.We aimed at interface problems for text data of product drawing and informationmanagement system, based on the principle of coordinate positioning method, achieveautomatic identification, extraction of whole schedule data and header data in VB environment. And use ADO technology to make the extracted Information into the database.At the same time, using storage method of text information of CAD drawing to generate XMLfiles to achieving the integration of CAD system and PDM system. On the other hand, we useActiveX technology to develop the software which can automatic generate the component listand the title bar in the VB environment, designer can use the software for drawing componentlist automatically and filling the title bar automatically. We also can add required data fromthe BOM of database to the AutoCAD, achieve automatic drawing of component list and thetitle bar, using the product data of the existing system efficient.The software worked out by the procedure,debugs and test repeatedly, it has verified thatthis procedure has succeeded in realizing above mentioned functions.which proves thecorrectness and feasibility of this new method.... |
