As a modern way of learning, the online learning is being accepted by more and more people, on account of it can get a better learning experience and learning outcomes for learners. The only learning has the characteristics that the traditional classroom learning does not have. It is the supplements and catalyst for the traditional teaching and learning, so that plays an irreplaceable role in the current learning, and also become a major approach to learning. With the popularity and development of the Internet, the resource sharing has become the main way for people to access information, and learning resource sharing in online learning is also particularly important. In online learning, learners through online learning system to complete the online learning process, thus the learning resources will inevitably be used in the learning process. The reasonability of the design, the availability, and the usability of the online learning system will directly influence the effect of online learning. A variety of learning groups, have different learning demands. Therefore the design of the online learning system has targeted to meet the needs of different learning groups on learning content and style.Firstly, we make analysis to the current development of a wide variety of online learning system, and we find that at different stages the online learning system have different needs. And then, based on the current value demands we design and implement an online learning platform, and this platform supports resource sharing. Based on the resource sharing system, designing and realizing the online learning is mainly according to the standard of "Technology requirement of establishing the National Level Excellent Resource Sharing Course". That is to meet the practical and valuable needs of establishing the national essential resource sharing class and was promoted by the nation.The design of the platform mainly aimed at the users that need for online learning and national quality resource sharing lesson building. On one hand, it supports a platform that the users can easily build standards-compliant course website. On the other hand, through the online learning platform we provide users with a blended learning platform environment.The platform is designed from two aspects. The one is designed from the necessary function, and the other is designed from the program that is necessary for a national essential resource sharing class. In general, this system is divided into three parts, they are knowledge portal and course website, study space, system management and maintenance. Knowledge portal and the course web site provide functions such as course demonstrates knowledge management and publishing. The learning space provides personal space and learning management functions. System management and maintenance provides the entire platform management and maintenance functions. Implementation based on the existing platform middle-ware, using J2EE platform architecture, it is portability, maintainability, security, and flexibility.Finally, the platform realizes a specific curriculum website for a University College, which is still in use. Application of the results indicates that the platform is valid on the building of course website, resource sharing, and support for blended learning, and able to meet the basic needs of online learning.
