Gas cylinder is a widely used transportable pressure vessel and it is generally usedto store high-pressure gas in the worldwide. We must make periodic measure to reducethe gas cylinders leakage and explosion, which will cause property damage and casualty.Compared with several world existing detection methods, the hydrostatic test method ofthe hydraulic test detection method is the better in reasonable and accuracy. However, inour country, the apply of long gas cylinders are rather later; the detection methods oflong tube gas cylinders are relatively backward and the study on the hydrostatic testequipment of water jacket method of long gas cylinder is extremely rare.In this subject, the QS-1seamless high pressure gas cylinders hydraulic testequipment that made by Wuxi ChangHua Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing Co.,Ltd been studied. According to the deficiencies in the prior test apparatus, the brakingdevice, rolling device and frame have been redesigned, which saved productionmaterials, simplified the production process, reduced the production cost and improvedthe detection accuracy.The physical model of hydrostatic tester of water jacket method of long gascylinder has been established by the Pro/E, and imported into ADAMS/View. The resultof dynamic emulation analysis by has proved that the structure design is reasonable andprovided data basis for the finite element analysis of the device.Based on the result of dynamic emulation analysis static analysis of the brakingdevice and frame has been made by ANSYS workbench. According to the result ofanalysis static analysis, we know that the strength of braking device and frame meetsthe requirements. Modal Analysis of frame has been made by ANSYS workbench,which proved that the structure of frame wouldn’t cause resonance and providesparameters for other dynamics analysis.The Analysis of the result of static analysis of lifting devices, we learned that thelifting devices have great extra strength. Further shape optimization design of liftingdevices has been made by ANSYSworkbench. Through optimized design, the liftingdevices has a smaller displacement and slighter weigh and the thickness of every part oflifting devices is confirmed.
