In many production processes, the Liquid-solid two-phase flow is a difficult problem that has not been solved perfectly for a long time. Ultrasonic flow measurement is one of application technique in industrial measurement. By the introduction of cross-correlation technology and ultrasonic transducer, the ultrasonic flow measurement system can be developed, and the un-contact flow measurement of two-phase flow can be realized. Because ultrasonic wave carry velocity message of fluid while traversing in the liquid flowing, so we would get the corresponding fluid noise signal through dealing with the ultrasonic wave signal that is received. The ultrasonic wave’s speed in water relates to temperature of water, impurity and depth of water, the intensity of the ultrasonic wave signal is varying with distance. Mainly for the function of liquid molecule, solid particle suspended substance and bubble, etc, the energy of the sound wave will be absorbed and reflected and the intensity will be weakened. This paper bases on a principle of ultrasonic wave, through measuring the sedimentation velocity by attenuation of the ultrasonic wave and measuring concentration of the solid phase by correlation method to design real-time on line measurements system. This paper mainly included:(1)Do in-depth research on ultrasonic transducers, re-design the circuit of ultrasonic receiver circuitry.(2)Use calculus of interpolation to seek for the peek value.(3) Compile the program of PGA.(4)Preliminary analysis solidification and non-solidification flow pattern.(5) Analyze detailedly the principle of cross-correlation algorithm and the soft Implementation on the pc and the lower computer.(6) Through a large number of repeated experiments, analysis the relationship between the sampling frequency, integration time, firing frequency, other parameters and the correlation measurements.
