Study On Measurement Of Solid Concentration And Sedimentation Velocity Of Liquid Solid Tow Phases Flow

Liquid-solid two-phase flow is the mixture of solid and liquid, and it exists in industrial production and people’s daily life. The flow parameters measurement of the liquid-solid two-phase medium which appears in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power and other industrial processes, it is significant for security, economic and efficient in industrial production process and helpful to the theory study of liquid-solid two-phase. However, there is some complexity and randomness about the liquid-solid two-phase flow process, so the flow parameter measurement is difficult.This paper bases on a principle of ultrasonic wave, through measuring the sedimentation velocity by attenuation of the ultrasonic wave and measuring concentration of the solid phase by correlation method to design real-time on line measurements system. This paper mainly included:(1)Do in-depth research on ultrasonic transducers, re-design the circuit of ultrasonic transmitter, and make much changes on receiver circuitry.(2) Add the automatically gain amplifier control circuit.(3) In Data Acquisition System Design, by consulting a large number of chip data, using the high-end ARM7processors and16-bits AD conversion chip, complete an circuit board including digital acquisition, storage, LED&LCD display and transmission/reception.(4)Analyze detailedly the principle of cross-correlation algorithm, implement the relevant algorithm on lower computer and optimize the algorithm of peak search.(5)Write the drivers of timer, interrupts, A/D sampling, serial communications, LCD/LED display and data storage by using the C language. Improve the data analysis software of upper computer and add handshake function.(6)Analyze and synthesize the problems as it arises in the process of testing the measurement system.
