| The surface of a centrifugal pump impeller blade is scanned by ATOS optical scanner according to the technology of non-contact measurement. The instrument imports data of the blade surface, which is processed by Imageware software. A standard NURBS curve is generated, and then reverse modeling of the blade surface is realized by PRO/E software, the quality of which is checked by curvature shaded analysis and light reflection method. Commercial CFD software FLUENT was applied to analyze the three-dimensional flow field of the impeller; the satisfied result and characteristic curve of pump are gotten. The research work shows that the reverse modeling technology to build the centrifugal impeller model by optical scanning is feasible and the result is precise. |
