Multi-role Cooperative Web System Anomalies Contextual Analysis And Reproduce

With the development of the information age, Web applications are moving towards a multi-user multi-role cooperative direction. There exists exception in the collaborative Web development, the exception not only reduces customer satisfaction, but also increases the difficulty for development and maintenance personnel to maintain the system. Therefore, the details of the exception need be recorded, allowing developers to accurately locate the position of exception, reproduce exception and eventually eliminate it. Web servers generally provide exception message. However, such information does not provide adequate conditions to locate the position of exception in multi-user multi-role cooperative system. The traditional exception handling is only taking response measures for users after an exception occurs. If exception is not removed, it will happen again.We focus on the research and application of handling about exception, and research some method of exception handling. Then we analyze the characteristics of the multi-user multi-role collaborative Web application, and the exception features occurred in such systems. On this basis, we introduce the concept of context for constructing a three-layer Web context. Combined with the features of exception, we analyze the relevant attributes, state and constraints of each context, and discuss the defect tracking management based on the Web context.We construct an exception context model of three-layer extension for dealing with the lack of exception information in traditional handling about exception, based on Web context. And then propose a method of exception analysis and reappearance in the angle of exception analysis, exception reappearance and exception elimination. At last, we apply this method into two application system based on web. The practice shows that the model achieves the exception analysis and reappearance. The system can efficiently record the all context information about the exception, provide sufficient information for the developer, to effectively reproduce the context when an exception occurs, then fast locate the exception position and to analyze the cause of the exception, and finally to eliminate it.
