The article introduced the calibration technology of parallelism of optical axis for IR and visible light. It discussed the video image-motion technology which used in some certain system, and analyzed its accuracy in detail. In the design of the weapon system, the parallelism of optical axis can be realized by this new video image-motion technology. The axis-adjusting uncertainty of the tester is13.74", which meet the requirements of outfield experiment completely. Through a series of examination, this video image-motion technology and the reliability and practicability of the products have been well proved and verified. The video image-motion technology has extensive applications in the calibration area of optical axis; it is an outfield calibration technology growing rapidly, which plays an important role for the light weapons.
