Chinese space industry develops rapidly in recent years. The high-frequent space launching activities put forward higher requirements for the test efficiency of launch vehicles. Telemetry data processing is an important procedure in testing system and has direct influence on the efficiency of telemetry data’s providing and interpretation, and further on the evaluation of test results and system performance. The transmission code rate is at the level of10MBps in the current international commercial satellite launching market, which will be the needs of domestic satellite launching and deep space exploration activities in the future. The application of high code rate testing systems leads to telemetry data explosion in the launch vehicle testing and flight test, sharp increase in parameter sampling and more complex processing methods. Consequently, the real time processing of complete data from launch vehicle test turns into the key problems in telemetry data utilization enhancement and testing efficiency improvement.In this paper, a general telemetry data processing system is presented, which is designed and realized after sufficient analysis of system demand and data attributes. The author studies the telemetry data processing technologies and introduces four kinds of modified algorithm for engineering practice based on database technology. With the help of three key technologies, the system realizes real-time processing and storing of peak mass data and improves the launch vehicle test efficiency. Telemetry data interpretation is studied and summarized. A formal definition of auto-interpretation model is proposed and a telemetry data auto-interpretation system is realized. The auto-interpretation system is available in the whole interpretation procedure and supports open data service. Based on configuration technology, a flexible plug-in system architecture is set up and improves the software system in upgrade, maintenance, expansion and portability.The general telemetry data processing system based on configuration technology for launch vehicle presented in this paper has been validated in rocket flights featuring high precision, fast processing and real-time data feedback. It improves in real-time performance, accuracy and reliability. Non-paper interpretation and rapid test are realized in a real sense, which thoroughly overcome the problems of low efficient interpretation, low data utilization and wrong identification of data in traditional mannual interpretation manner. The system is a general and applicable software with configuration technology being used in development and test of various launch vehicle and it will play a positive role in development of launch vehicle test technologies.
