The abstract concepts in digital signal processing course are quite difficult for students to understand; therefore, by fully tapping the computer’s potential for digital processing, this study has developed an experiment platform for digital signal processing, which is supported by software LabVIEW8, a virtual instrument developing platform developed by National Instruments Company, and by computer multimedia sound card. This platform is written mainly in iconographized G-Language, which makes it possible to realize the purpose of basic computation, signal sampling and retrieving, signal frequency spectrum analyzing and filter designing demonstration; particularly, it makes it possible to collect signals through computer sound card. The excellent visual effect of this platform makes it easier for students to understand the basic concepts of signal processing, thus having the benefits of improving class efficiency and generating students’enthusiasm for study.
