According to the general requirements of the smart phones antenna,this paper designs a kinds of low profile wideband antenna. The antenna operating frequency band for the GSM900M\DCS1800M\PCS1900M\TD1900M\TD2100M PIFA antenna,volume53mm*8mm*3mm, area531mm2. In order to fully meet the needs of smart phones, the height of the antenna is relatively low, the board edge where only2mm, the highest board side is4mm, the average height of3mm. The antenna structure by using the inclined plane, make full use of the shape characteristics of mobile phone arc streamline, up to the maximum clearance volume for the antenna gain, provides the necessary antenna clearance volume as a design objective bandwidth; The antenna is the integrated use of changing the "Reference ground" shape to increase the bandwidth of technology, meandering technology, many branches of technology, and the matching network, a variety of techniques and methods to optimize the design of the antenna. The antenna is simulated using software Ansoft HFSS and a practical measurement of the designed antenna is tested. The result of measurement is in good agreement with the result of simulation. This antenna is not only a multi-band, wide bandwidth, high efficiency, high gain, low-profile technical features meet the industry standards, but its low cost, easy to assemble economic practicality, to achieve a good commercial value.
