The Research And Application Of Domain-oriented Reusable Software Asset Management

With the rapid expansion of computer application domain, both the scale and thecomplexity of software are increasing, as well as the demand is growing; more andmore software enterprises realized that to improve software productivity has becomethe primary task of the enterprise. Software reuse is an important way to improve theproductivity and quality of software, and the most effective way to implementsoftware reuse for enterprises itself is to reuse the asset of the enterprises. A lot ofreusable software assets is the basis of software reuse, and the effective managementof software assets is the key to the success of software reuse. Software assetmanagement provides support for the enterprises to use software assets morereasonable and effective. And the domain reusable assets have a higher reusability,which produce the domain model and domain specific framework in the p rocess of therequirement and design on the domain at the same time, and the granularity ofreusable assets is the basis of assembly system.The purpose of this paper is to propose asset management information model andanalyze the related technology of reuse asset management as well as theimplementation process of developing software with assets reuse, which provideguidance for enterprises to develop the system of reusable software assetsmanagement and implement software reuse.Firstly, this paper analyzes the advantages of carrying asset management onspecific domain and introduces a scalable asset management information model, anddefines the classification model, relational model in which two sub-models as well asspecifies its extension mechanism. Then based on the RAS core asset model, itproposes the reusable asset information model at which is aimed to generate thedescription file of asset entities, and puts forward a method of search assets withkeyword, it can get the tree model of asset entity description with positive matchingalgorithm,. Through coding node of the tree model with Dewey coding method, it getsthe inverted index of keywords to achieve the searching of assets. Also it puts forwarda kind of asset verification method for specific structure of assets, and defines theassets storage data structure and storage method. Finally the article gives theimplementation process of developing software with reusable asset.
