Social media was born mainly because of people’s requirement of interacting and the access to information, the current history of its development is still relatively short, the early social media is mainly in the form of online chat rooms and blog, Friendster, MySpace, Bebo became the world’s three most popular social networking service website from2002to2004, in2006, Facebook was born and quickly grew into a social networking site with the largest number of users worldwide. China’s first social media can be traced back to the ChinaRen which was created by ChenYizhou, ZhouYunfan and YangNing on May,1999.At that time, social media was just introduced rom abroad, and they are not yet clear about their own marketing position, the functions were also far from perfect. In recent years, with the birth and development of Douban, Renren, Tianya, Qzone, Sina microblog, we-chat and other social media,China’s social media industry, shows a flourishing state.This paper takes QQ space for example, analyses the content and structure of the social network in our country. Basing on the analysis, explain each of the elements’ function and then classify them, summarize the users’ needs that the social networking sites can meet. This article explains the motivation why people use the social networking sites basing on the "use and satisfaction "in communication, preliminarily explore the advantages and deficiencies of the social networking sites’ content settings in our country,, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures to solve the existing problems, hoping that it can give some suggestions to the development of social networking site in China,making China’s social networking sites meet the users’ needs better both on content and function. This article focuses on three aspects:it is the first time to give a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the content and structure of the social networking sites, filling the margin in the current study; analyses of the functions of social networking sites and the users’ needs that they can meet comprehensive and in-depth; preliminarily study the future developing orientation of Chinese social networking site.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the Qzone, this research has found that strong relationship, strong interaction, strong sociability, strong entertainment highlighted the Qzone’s advantages. However, its shortcomings are also obvious. At first, the spread of false information is very severe, the readers were always forced reproduce the information they saw; Secondly, because of the privilege restrictions of yellow diamond, users need to spend more money so that they can experience some functions; Moreover, Qzone is a little closed and it can’t really become the first media to report some important information; in addition, the contents in Qznoe are slightly messy, its classification is not clear. As Qzone’s high homogeneity with some other domestic social media, so its users did not have very high stickiness, the users of Qzone often use other social media; But in view of the reason that Qzone is based on the relationship between acquaintances social circle, the user’s loyalty is better. Ranked fifth in the social media worldwide, Qzone has much influence on its users’interpersonal relationship, on the one hand, it allows users to promptly know the dynamics of a friend; the other hand, it also increases the common topics between friends.
