As the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) of the development, Embedded and Net technologies, Ethernet technology also obtained the rapid development. More and more specific occasions are calling for embedded gateway, Internet connection in embedded system become the hot topic of embedded and Wireless Sensor Network field. Embedded system become a small and fully functions Web server with embedded Web server built in this system and connection in Internet. Embedded system is widely used in agriculture, industry and military fields.Combined ARM technology with Zigbee technology, this article created the embedded gateway hardware platform, which based on ARM microprocessor. Embedded gateway is connected to PC with the Internet. The Zigbee WLAN is built by the coordinator nodes, route nodes and terminal nodes that achieved the real-time temperature information acquisition. The user can get the temperature information through the remote PC. Major research is as follows:(1) Analysis the feasibility of the whole system, including theoretical knowledge and development board introduction, processor type, the performance parameter setting of System, etc.(2) We have carried on the deep research on the Linux system, including the Linux kernel configuration and tailoring, file system making. Serial Port reading or writing program was wrote, which laid the foundation for system development.(3) Studied the embedded system technology, especially with ARM9as the core embedded system. The Linux operating system, file system and embedded database were transplanted in the ARM9.(4) The Zigbee WLAN is built, including the terminal nodes hardware connection, temperature data collection processes of Zigbee, so as to realize the temperature information collection.(5) The embedded gateway was built based on Web server and embedded technology that realized the temperature information query of long-distance. The system has a good man-machine interface and remote access function, good extensibility of Zigbee modules that you can access to different collection devices according to system requirements, for example, a humidity sensor, smoke sensor, etc. At the same time, a problem of temperature information dynamic display on the webpage was solved in the embedded gateway that has good value and reference significance in practice use.
