Design Of Household Intelligent Monitoring System Based On ARM&ZIGBEE

Rapid economic growth, social progress and rapid development information and network technology enables people to pursuit higher quality of life, especially living conditions. Traditional house model is facing the challenge of a new house model, which is called smart home. Smart home system,which is related to many technologies such as computer technology,sensor technology, measuring and controlling technology, network communication technology, electric information technology, embedded technology and so on, has a wide range of application prospects and with high research value.Current intelligent household system generally with cable way wiring, has many difficulties such as wiring difficulties, poor compatibility and the drawbacks of excessively dependent on PC. on the analysis of the current situation in domestic and abroad intelligent household,this paper puts forward a kind of intelligent household system solution,which adoptes Zigbee as the internal wireless communication between devices,and based on ARM&Linux platform,and this scheme has the following the innovation points:According to the characteristics of family environment, a communication way which a fusion of the Zigbee protocol and TCP/IP communication protocol is proposed. Zigbee protocol is conducive to small range wireless networking, TCP/IP protocol is conducive to long-range communication, so that realizes the complementary of two protocols'respective advantages, and effectively solves the function limitations which were brought out by a single communication protocol.◆System hardware platform uses 32-bit ARM processor to replace the traditional PC, greatly reducing power consumption and saving the cost, and embedded platform not only reduces volume, but also strengthen its mobile convenience more.◆Transplanting embedded Linux operating system with high stable performance can greatly improve the system performance, especially for multitasking operating platform, and also play a big security for the future system upgrade.◆There is an embedded WEB server which was linked with a database in internal, and users can access the server through any terminal on the computer's browser to monitor the indoor information.This work includes the following main aspects:●build of embedded system hardware and software platform.●transplantion of embedded database, WEB server, GUI and other in the ARM platform.●the development of system application software in the software and hardware platform which is built well.●the development of graphical user interface of network controller. design a good system management page, and the development of the corresponding CGI interfaces for interacting with the user.
