In the stream data collection and communication monitoring system, more and more devices support the field bus communication technology. As of now there are much steam monitoring system commonly used by the distributed control system, which is without openness that can not directly communicate with other devices. Therefore, this paper designs a steam data collection sub-station based on a field bus communication protocol, allowing the monitoring of distributed control system is with openness. The design makes the terminal equipment connected to the same protocol, improving the flexibility and reliability of the system.The steam data collection sub-station can parse and forward the data from the connected device, uploading the pressure, temperature, valve status information of the stream boiler to the monitoring host and receiving the control instruction and data information from host. Entire communications can be configured by software to enforce the communication connection to the underlying interrupt device, with room for expansion, easy to upgrade and maintain, etc. And it can improve intelligence and network of data monitoring control system.The steam data collection sub-station uses the latest ARM Cortex-M3core the STM32chip as system master, which complete data capture, conversion, and output functions in the system. Meanwhile, the system is with an external analog signal input measurement, standby power management, power-down data storage, real-time calendar display and recording, man-machine interface. The battery management is used by dedicated lithium battery charge management chip CN3052. Large-capacity SD card complete the data storage function. And the clock chip adopts the low-frequency clock of the processor. The achievement of system-related parameters is through the keys and the remote control, easy to operate and with strong practicality and significance.The steam data collection sub-station, solves the difficulty of obtaining data to the steam data collection control system existing, and has the external sensor function. Intelligent monitoring of steam boiler systems, has a strong practical and is a good tool for monitoring the safe operation of the steam system.
