In today’s society in the information age, the Internet has quickly into people’s daily life, the main way to a variety of online office system and all walks of life to obtain information, especially in the information disclosed today, government departments work efficiency will directly affect the satisfaction of people on it, so the government will begin to developed for the units of office software, Dongguan social insurance information management system is established in this background, from the actual effect, it can make the unit of each department’s work mode can satisfy the actual requirements of the people, the work efficiency is improved greatly.This paper first introduces the Dongguan social insurance information management system research background and significance of the research, the present research situation of domestic and foreign social insurance management information system are studied, describes the system development method and related technology. This paper presents the Dongguan social insurance management information system construction goal, to the social insurance management information system function of the needs analysis. This paper studies the function demand unit of Dongguan social insurance information management system in insurance, personal insurance, new payment management, fund management, system management module, a static model of the system. Modeling and analysis by UML, analyzed the system use case and the participation of personnel, the use case diagram form, the composition and function of each system. In the detailed demand analysis foundation, designed the function of social insurance management information system of each sub module. In the database design, according to the functional requirements of each module and their relation, based on the principles of database design, detailed design of the system database table structure. Finally, the research contents are summarized, the author’s work, points out the deficiencies of this paper, and the further work is prospected.
