With the popularization of mobile terminals, mobile Internet era arise at the historicmoment. The explosive growth of mobile data traffic brings enormous pressure to the telecomoperators. WLAN technology is the intersection of computer Internet and mobilecommunications, which can effectively be the supplementary means of wired network and3Gnetworks. WLAN, as a high-speed wireless broadband access, has great market potential withthe unique advantage of high bandwidth, low cost and fast networked. Operators put thedeployment of WLAN networks on an important strategic position, desire to reduce thecellular network load and improve the user experiences. After these years of development, thecentralized WLAN architecture, based on AC+thin AP, gradually been established.Equipment manufacturers are vigorously developing the large capacity AC devices because ofthe market trend. It is difficult to test AC. To make sure that the AC which is tested can meetthe functional requirements of carrier-grade long-term stable operation, its comprehensiveperformance test is a very complex and urgent roblem for equipment manufacturers to solved.According to the existing test technical characteristics and functions of AC systemarchitecture, this paper designs and implements an AC testing tool by creating virtual networkadapters to simulate AP and STA access. The testing tool can simulate the access behavior ofAP and STA, offers a variety of test scenarios to test the function and comprehensiveperformance of AC. This paper firstly introduces the centralized WLAN system architecture, followed by a brief introduction to the AC devices and existing test techniques, and thenfocuses on the design and implementation of AP and STA access, finally describes the systemtesting with the analysis. In this paper, the testing tool is implemented through functionanmodular design, focusing on protocol stack, mock AP, mock STA and so on. Experimentalresults show that the testing system, has been designed and implemented, is not only able tocomplete the testing indicators of AC devices, but also can save a lot of money and materialresources, while improving test efficiency. The testing tool, has important practical value, willbe able to form effective protection for the scale production of AC devices by finding andsolving problems before commerciallization.
