The Research On Building The NUFE Data Center Based On Cloud Computing

Clouding computing evolves from the distributed computing technology and the network technology development, and aims to utilize network to integrate multiple computing entities with relatively low cost to form a perfect system with strong computing power. The informatization engineering in NUFE targets at building a leading domestic and first-rate in Jiangsu Province data center. To achieve this, carrying out technological innovation and renovation becomes increasingly important. To date, the NUFE data center has employed hardware and software needed by building cloud platform, and the construction of NUFE data center based on cloud computing will be finished in summer vacation this year.In this paper, we first introduce the current state of NUFE data center, and qualitatively analyze several problems we’re facing. Based on the analysis of the concept, principles, and advantages of cloud computing, a set of cloud-based data center solutions is presented. In particular, we elaborate the implementation plan of the NUFE data center based on cloud computing from many aspects, including core database server, application server, storage system, application delivery, security architecture, and office desktop virtualization. Finally, we summarize the construction of NUFE data center.
