With the continuous development of computer technology, society institutions forhigher efficiency and reliability requirements of the identification system. In sectorswith a high level of security, biometrics authentication system instead of traditional keyor smart card system. Fingerprint and face recognition does not constitute aninfringement on the human body and convenient and reliable biometric technology.Existing biometric technology are based on single-mode biometric, biometrictechnology in practical applications, it is difficult to play to their strengths, because theproposed information with a single check data by the environmental impact of its ownlimitations. This paper presents a multi-biometric authentication system (BiometricIntegration System)-based the BIS convenient, fast, safe, and reliable features fulladvantage of the convenience of the single biometric information security issues,flexible, effective solutions.In this thesis, the development process and the status quo of biometric technologyelaborate, detailed analysis of the problems that exist in the current system functionsand system. Then, by extracting the demand model to analyze the BIS systemarchitecture. Biological information in the BIS system through fingerprint and facialfeature special fusion of biological systems decision-making. Faster through the use offace recognition speed combined with the fingerprint recognition accuracy and improvethe accuracy of the BIS system for personnel identification. Than on the rate of thebiometric system is optimized through sophisticated algorithms. In the detailed designsection describes how to use the code to the process of implementation of the wholesystem, and focus on functional requirements mentioned in the needs of the sub-modulefunction.Finally, we use the theory of software engineering, the BIS system test, theprogress of the development in accordance with the project system correspondingtesting correction the test failed module and test the serious problem, according to theresult of the test in a timely manner. Analysis of the provisions of the comparison of thedata, test results and demand proven for the biometric authentication, significantly improved the technical parameters of the multi-biometric authentication systemidentification efficiency and accuracy.The BIS system function covers configuration management of multi-biometricauthentication technology, personnel fingerprints and facial feature Acquisition, featurematching module certification. Research focus in the field of the current multi-biometricauthentication, biometric select the type and quantity of data fusion layer selection,methods of integration of data, costs, and identify effect provide a reference.
