Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging technology, has the broad applicationprospect. Each node can sense the outside environment information such as temperature,humidity, etc thought deployed themselves in the area that need to monitored, then analysisand processing and screening the information, take these information back to the base stationfor information acquisition researchers used at last. WSN has very wide application in thecurrent social. Mainly manifests in the environmental monitoring, transportation, fire report,infrastructure protection, agriculture, medical, industrial sensing and military. With thedevelopment of science and technology, the contributions of WSN to the modern society willbecome more and more important.Because observer not only need the environmental information but also need to knowwhere this information from at the same times, this puts forward a new requirement on WSNthat each node should know their own position. So node positioning technology is a veryimportant technology in WSN. VBLS localization algorithm use Voronoi diagram theory inthe WSN node localization. In VBLS localization algorithm, the boundary between twobeacon nodes is the perpendicular bisector segments of them. However in practice, becausethe distance between one node to another two beacon nodes is usually different, so we canimprove the positioning accuracy thought change the to appropriate position. Then putforward WVBLS localization algorithm based on VBLS, this algorithm can find out theweighted border between two beacon nodes through the weighted mechanism and pendingnode just in this border. Then the position coordinates of pending node can be work outthrough two weighted line. Through the simulation analysis, WVBLS localization algorithmin the positioning accuracy has greatly improved than is VBLS algorithm, but computationalcomplexity of two localization algorithm is on same level. In order to reduce thecomputational complexity, this paper proposes a new localization algorithm GWVBLS baseon WVBLS, this algorithm group, beacon nodes, group size is up to the current environmentalnoise and beacon nodes. In addition, in order to reduce the impact of error, GWVBLS onlyselect the Angle of close to90°weighted line for simultaneous calculation. Through thebeacon node group and selection strategy, the calculation in the positioning process reducedgreatly. Through the experimental simulation analysis,when the group size for5,6or7,GWVBLS algorithm can achieve satisfactory balance positioning accuracy and computational complexity.
