In marine resource exploitation and national defense area,underwater target detectionsystem are used home and abroad.In the electronic equipment field, high-performancesignal processors have also experienced a rapid development in this decade,existing in ourwork and life. It has a great significance to research how to adapt high performanceprocessors to target detection systems.This paper studied the software design of dataacquisition and storage and applied to underwater target detection system.The main work isone-channel data acquisition,data storage and network control.The main content of the paper is to complete one-channel data acquisition,storagefunction on the third-party hardware platform.To begin with,the paper studied why OMAPprocessor can be competent to the work of underwater target detection.According to thehardware platform that was offered by electronic companies from home andabroad,SEED-DEC138hardware platform was chosen to be the carrier of the softwaredesign.Then,considering the circumstance of working underwater unattached,the paperstudied how the OMAP-L138processor start to work,how to boot in FLASH mode,etc.Thepaper complete data acquisition,SD card data storage,preampfier amptitude and bandwidthcontrol by I2C bus,TCP/IP network control function only use the DSP core of theprocessor.To balance the work of DSP core and the ARM core,the paper discussed theinner-communication technique,made some work on data acquision and storage functionthat way.Last but not least,the paper discussed the method of testing the software design inthe underwater target detection system,the result is that the signal can be acquisited andstored correctly,some other work that was referred above carried its point.Many tests showed that the main design of data acquisition and storage could satisfythe system request and work steadily.It has made a great contribution to data replay andpost-processing work.
