QoS technology is well developed in IP network and is widely used in IP supportnetwork. Because of the heated competition in service demand, traditional internetbegins arranging its QoS. Facing the complex QoS theory and its parameterconfiguration, it is an un-ignorant problem that how to make network designer andsupporter master QoS theory and its parameter configuration method and how toguarantee the QoS of the current network. Current research on QoS policy mainlyfocuses on the lab test or in corporation with the specialized third party company onthe online pressure test. Although these methods have high reliability, they areunreliable for normal service supporters because of their large cost of funds. Thisthesis introduces the QoS theory simulation method in software which could helpunderstand the theory and the configuration method. After simulation, the QoS couldput into use and save MOSt of the current network risk.Through study the IP QoS technique in experiment, QoS policy could guaranteevariant business.This thesis mainly covers following points:1. Construct simulated network with GNS3software. We build2topologies whichcorrespond the small scale network used in company, enterprise and school andthe WLAN of the Telecommunication Service Providers.2. Load net flow with Cisco SLA technique. It mainly loads the net flow of HTTP,FTP, ICMP, DNS, DHCP, TELNET and VOIP. These net flow is a premise forresearch on QoS of variant business over the network.3. This thesis introduces the policy routing and the method of application MQC(Module QoS Command Interface). Policy based routing could the next jump ofthe message based on the source address, destination address, port number andprotocol sets and use the ACL method. MQC could classify the messages easily.Meanwhile net flow is controlled through MQC.4. Simulated the guarantee of PQ queue on customers request for the business.Tested the validation of policy based QoS. PQ queue’s simplicity and highefficiency could provide low delay for the business in need of QoS guarantee.5. Simulated the QoS guarantee of low delay business of CBWFQ, LLQ, and WREDin the network. These QoS techniques are widely used in current network. Itstheory and techniques, and configuration methods are of high importance fornetwork supporters to study.
