| Nowadays, the mobile communication technology develops quickly and mobile subscribersincrease rapidly, the signal can cover outdoor areas of large and medium-sized cities seamlessly.Due to the continuous improvement in users’ requirements, indoor coverage becomes ratherimportant in improving users’ satisfaction, improving the quality of networks and increasingtraffic. Especially mobile users with the need of surfing the Internet have more opportunities touse their mobile phones indoors. Good indoor coverage is a theme in network optimization.Indoor distribution system is an important means to optimize the indoor coverage.The university library has a strong demand for indoor coverage, where laptops, mobilephones, wireless terminals have the wireless broadband access requirement. In2G era, operatorsuse the combiner technology making WLAN and GSM together for indoor coverage which hasthe advantage in deploying easily, saving investment and covering flexibly. However, as3G hasa faster access rate than that of2G,3G+WLAN networking comes into being in3G era.In this paper, we analysis critical techniques of WCDMA and WLAN systems, makeWLAN signal feedback through a combiner into WCDMA indoor coverage system usingdifferent frequency bands of WCDMA and WLAN based on the characteristic of combinertechnology, then cover the area by common antennas. In the design, we set indexes and excludethe interference between WCDMA and WLAN networks according to users’ distributioncharacteristics and requirements for WCDMA system and WLAN system; Configure the numberof covered users in the system and wireless coverage edge field strength, predict signal coveragerange of WLAN system, proceed the channel configuration, analysis of electromagnetic radiationprotection and signal leakage based on the information of cover field intensity, uplink and degreeof isolation. In system signal coverage design of WCDMA and WLAN, the basic idea of systemcover combiner is to use combined antennas saving construction costs and resources, thereforethe focal point of our design is to take different coverage schemes in different regions optimizingthe allocation of resources.The merge of3G and WLAN can not only solve the contradiction among3G networkcapacity, users’ need and regional hot issues of data effectively, reduce operators’ costs fornetwork construction, operation and maintenance significantly, but also can improve users’access speed, quality, and a perfect use effect. |
