Research On WCDMA Indoor Distribution Optimization Technology And Its Applications

With the fast development of WCDMA network construction and implementation, there hasbeen an ever growing requirement for network performance due to the increase of customer numberand service applications. It has been approved that indoor environment service covers more than70%in total WCDMA network traffic. Considering the spectrum characteristics of WCDMAsystem, poor penetrating performance, and bad coverage feature, it makes WCDMA indoordistributed system optimization as a key technology to improved network quality and enhancescustomer’s perception. This thesis presents a comprehensive research on WCDMA indoordistribution system optimization technology and its applications in Jiangsu Unicom actualnetworks.Firstly, a brief introduction is given including WCDMA principles, technical features andprimary parameters. The indoor distribution system is analyzed in detail, some technique challengesand optimization procedures are discussed.
