Design And Implementation Of Financial Management System Of TEDA Group

Finance Management is an important and complex task for any company.It’s a great challenge for Company’s financial management staff to deal with such a large number of accounting and financial data. TEDA,which is short for Science and Technology Development Group is a modern integrated company.It involves a wide range of sectors and has lots of dispersed subsidiaries,which brings a lot of inconvenience. The current system can only achieve simple bookkeeping, reimbursement and tax treatment,but can not achieve the unified management and control of the internal financial information.Without unified financial management platform, the Group couldn’t understand the accounts of branches. As a result it cann’t achieve unified planning and allocation for Group’s internal resources.Thus, in the rapid development of the modern era, TEDA must take advantage of advanced technology and means to manage the financial and development financial management information system suitable to company.In this paper, we take the actual requirments of TEDA’s financial management into account, and take the theories and financial management software of domestic and foreign as a reference. Ultimately we put forward our own ideas and methods for the design. With the J2EE architecture and software engineering, we developed the financial management system based on B/S model. This System used the JAVA to acheive system interface and the front operating, and used the Microsoft SQL Server2000as the database. The whole financial management system is under a main structure of handling accounting vouchers. The system realized the company regulation through the landing rights restrictions, production and marketing costs, budgeting implementation, payment and settlement. And it realized automatic carrying over accounts, consolidating financial statements and giving financial analysis according to the report data between Corporation and its subsidiaries.It helps to save labor costs and the transmission of information, and provides reliable data and indicators for analysis. Through the network, the system can provide the subsidiaries’ financial information to the managers Which help them find out their operation status to make overall arrangements and management of the company’s capital and control the budget, finally achieve the purpose of modern management of TED A.At present, TEDA’s finance management system has been used, and it’s stable and reliable. This system can be flexibly configured and customized to meet personalized finance management requirement of Branches. It can also provide comprehensive and complete solution for finance management of TED A, which provides some reference to finance management software development for other companies.
