Research On Product Conceptual Design Based On The Hybrid Reasoning Technology

With the continuous development of product innovation, the product concept design has drawn increasing attention as an important part of the product innovation. The main task of the product concept design is to define the product needs through market research analysis, determine the principle of product function, resolve the basic characteristics and performance of the product, derive the product design program. Since the product conceptual design will be a decisive impact on product innovation process in subsequent detailed design and development, even will affect the realization of the strategic objectives of the enterprise. Therefore, study for the conceptual design has important theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, the process of product concept design as the object of study, it research the acquisition and processing of customer demand in the conceptual design and solving in case retrieval, evaluation and correction. Finally the product conceptual design knowledge management system was designed. The main research work is as follows.1. Summarized the meaning and the status quo of product conceptual design. Study on the hot issues of the conceptual design, this paper summed up the existing problems of the existing research, proposed research and the significance of this topic.2. Aim to the customer needs, it collected customers’ needs through web-based survey, using KJ method to analysis a large number of mixed customer needs. It principled and hierarchical expressed customer needs by streamline redundant information and process fuzzy demand. With using rough set theory to oriented the classified customer’s demand, digging out the rules and adding the rule base, it analyze the needs of all types of customers that really care about. The product design which highly targeted push the market more is recognized by consumers.3. The hybrid reasoning technology based on case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning was put forward to the case-design of product conceptual design. CBR is a priority to search reasoning result by matching cases. It turns to the general RBR to amend the design when the similarity below standard. Due to the accuracy and efficiency of case retrieval in CBR, the paper adopted the rough set theory to process the existing case base and then find the true weight of the feature attributes in order to improve the accuracy of case retrieval.The hybrid clustering algorithm that combined with hierarchical clustering and K-means clustering was used to form index in order to improve the efficiency of case retrieval.4. Aim to the evaluation of the conceptual design for the product, it used AHP to evaluate the case. Get the user’s preferences through customer interaction platform, seek to similar cases set case evaluation by experts in the field, similar cases to select the most appropriate follow-up parameters rewritten after the formation of the final design.The finally case was evaluated the similar cases and selected the most appropriate case, and then revised its parameters.
